The vault screener toolbox — part 1: the native Hyperliquid page (your baseline)

Before any third-party tool, there's the source of truth: Hyperliquid's own vaults page. It's free, complete, and canonical — and it's exactly why a curation layer like Altcopy's needs to exist on top of it.

There's a small industry of tools to screen and compare Hyperliquid vaults, and this series reviews them one by one — each measured against the Altcopy leaderboard. But every one of them is built on top of the same foundation, so we start there: the native Hyperliquid vaults page.

What it does

It's the official, real-time, complete record: every vault, with APR, TVL, PnL, max drawdown, lock-up, open positions and trade history on each one's page. It's free, and it's the source of truth — every third-party tool (and this blog) is downstream of it. Whatever a fancier dashboard tells you, this is the page you cross-check against.

Where to stay critical

Its strength is also its limit: it's neutral and complete, so it shows the traps as confidently as the gems. The protocol's HLP sits among user vaults; dormant vaults wear frozen APRs; the dead are hidden, making the field look safer than it is; and there's no notion of "for whom," no aggregated view of your positions. It hands you the data and leaves all the judgment to you.

They're not rivals: the native page is the ground truth, ours is the curation on top. Start here, always come back here to verify — but don't expect it to choose for you.

Use any third-party tool read-only — type the URL yourself, paste only a public address, never connect a wallet you don't have to, never enter a seed phrase. Not an endorsement; verify before you trust.
