The vault screener toolbox — part 8: hl.eco, the “House of all Hyperliquid”

hl.eco — the “House of all Hyperliquid” — is the one third-party tool that also buckets vaults by risk profile, plus an ecosystem-level map (concentration, deployed capital, ARPU). How it compares to the Altcopy leaderboard's gated, flagged curation.

A late addition to the toolbox series, and a worthy one: hl.eco. It bills itself as the "House of all Hyperliquid" — an ecosystem dashboard — and its vaults section does something none of the other third-party tools do, which makes it the most interesting comparison of the lot.

What it does

hl.eco's vault view is built around risk categories: it sorts vaults into Conservative (shallow drawdowns, steady), Balanced (risk in check, real return), and Aggressive (higher upside, deeper drawdowns). Around that it layers ecosystem context most tools skip: vault population and concentration, total exposure and deployed capital across the top vaults, "yield grouped by what it actually is," a trending view of the biggest 7-day APY moves, and a stability view of the lowest-volatility yields. Zoom out and it shows Hyperliquid's unit economics — ARPU, take rate, and how the venue stacks up against peer exchanges.

What's genuinely notable

Two things. First, it's the only third-party tool here that buckets vaults by investor profile — Conservative / Balanced / Aggressive — the same instinct behind Altcopy's profile filters. Second, its ecosystem-level lens (concentration, deployed capital, ARPU) gives you a macro map a per-vault screener can't.

Where to stay critical

It's an analytics and overview hub, not a curated recommendation. The profile buckets are descriptive categorization, not a gated, Fit-scored shortlist — a vault lands in "Aggressive" because of its stats, not because it passed a quality gate. The "trending 7-day APY" view is, by design, a spotlight on exactly the short-window hot streaks this blog keeps warning about — useful to know what's moving, dangerous to read as a buy list. And there are no honesty flags (dormant, funded-illusion) and no finished basket.

hl.eco answers "what's the shape of the vault field, and what's moving?"; Altcopy answers "which specific vaults, for you, are worth holding — honestly flagged." Most alike in spirit (both think in profiles), most different in job: hl.eco categorizes and contextualizes; we gate, flag, score, and curate into an Index.

Bottom line

hl.eco is the best macro map of the Hyperliquid vault landscape, and the only other tool that thinks in risk profiles — reach for it to understand the field's shape and what's trending. Just don't mistake a category label or a 7-day mover for a vetted recommendation; that's the curation step.

Use any third-party tool read-only — type the URL yourself, paste only a public address, never connect a wallet you don't have to, never enter a seed phrase. Not an endorsement; verify before you trust.
