The vault screener toolbox — part 5: the wallet & whale terminals

Hyperdash, HyperTracker, HypurrScan, Nansen and friends are powerful — but they screen traders and wallets, not the vault field. Their real value for vaults is vetting the leader behind one. How that complements Altcopy.

A whole tier of excellent Hyperliquid tools gets recommended for "vaults" but is really built for something else: tracking wallets and whales. It's worth being precise about what they do.

What they are

  • Hyperdash — an advanced trading terminal: wallet cohorts, whale alerts, position-change feeds, a Copy Score and copy trading, plus its own vaults tracking top traders.
  • HyperTracker — paste any wallet and get full trade history, open positions, realized/unrealized PnL, win rate, liquidation-risk scoring.
  • HypurrScan — an explorer: whale positions, liquidations, top traders, funding, open interest.
  • Nansen (paid), Liquid Terminal, and HypeStats — multi-chain intelligence, entity labels, explorers and multi-wallet portfolio views.

The honest framing

None of these is a vault screener — they won't rank the vault field for you. But they're invaluable for the second half of vault due diligence: vetting the leader and the live positions behind a vault. Paste a vault's address into HyperTracker or Hyperdash and you'll see what it's actually holding, its leverage, and its history — the ground truth behind the headline APR, where unrealized paper gains and hidden leverage live. (One caution: Hyperdash's copy-trading is about mirroring a trader, a different model from a vault.)

These are complements, not competitors. Use a wallet terminal to investigate the human behind a vault; use our board to decide whether the vault belongs in a portfolio. Altcopy doesn't replace wallet forensics — it sits one layer up from it.

Use any third-party tool read-only — type the URL yourself, paste only a public address, never connect a wallet you don't have to, never enter a seed phrase. Not an endorsement; verify before you trust.
